The following represents a number of Internet sites that will provide a starting point in using the Internet for developing new hand-on activities, lectures and assignments.  A number of the web sites include visualizations (digital images, animations and simulations) that can be used in constructing multimedia lectures.  Other sites include more traditional lesson plans and activities that do not involve computers or the Internet.  Some of the sites are designed for students to use, others just for teachers.

These sites are by no means an all inclusive listing.  Other sites can be found using search engines such as Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com) or Excite (http://www.excite.com).  I would be very interested in adding to this list.  Please send your feedback and any other web sites you would like added to this list to smetanka@acad1.stvincent.edu.
