The Department of Modern & Classical Languages does not requre majors or minors to participate in cooperative education or internship experiences. The faculty, however, view these as invaluable opportunities to practice one's language skills in a professional setting.

Language students have worked outside of the classroom at area businesses, museums, hospitals, schools, and social service and government agencies. Internships may be arraged in countries outside of the United States.

Students can earn academic credit form the Department of Modern & Classical Languages. Students may or may not be paid, depending on the site.
