Requirements for Teacher Education

Undergraduate Graduate Continuing Education

Regardless of the program, the Education Department at Saint Vincent College combines content area course work, education coursework and field experience with a liberal arts tradition. As a result of this instruction, candidates who complete certification at Saint Vincent College are extremely well prepared and are thus very successful in passing all parts of the Praxis examinations (see Praxis Exams for more information) and in obtaining teaching positions.

Students can become certified in many areas at Saint Vincent College.  Students can also dual-certify and add certifications by following specified guidelines provided by their education advisor. Please review the advising guides provided below.
