Chemistry Club
The Saint Vincent College
Chemistry Club is a student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical
Society. The club is student run with faculty advisors as resource
people. Membership is comprised mostly of students in the natural sciences
but is open to all interested students. The club sponsors a multitude of
activities throughout the semester, both academic and social. Workshops
through the Career Services Office are sponsored to inform students of
job and internship possibilities in the field of Chemistry and field
trips are sponsored to observe the different possible uses of Chemistry
in Industry. The club also sponsors collections for the needy and
regularly plans social events such as movie nights and dinners to allow
members to gather and relax for a while. New members are always welcome.
